Tattoo Removal

This is the removal of unwanted tattoos of different colours drawn on the skin with permanent ink. Laser tattoo removal works by using highly concentrated light energy to break down the pigment particles in the ink of the tattoo. The tattoo will significantly lighten but may not completely disappear.

During the treatment, dermatologists use lasers to send out high-intensity pulses of light that target the tattoo ink specifically. As the ink absorbs these pulses of light, it begins to heat up causing the ink to break into tiny pieces. Multiple sessions are required over some months.
